为避免华府动乱再起，Airbnb已取消与禁止总统就职当週的华府地区订房。
美国总统当选人拜登（Joe Biden）预计20日在华盛顿特区就职，13日网路民宿平台Airbnb 宣布，将取消、禁止华府地区订房；Google同日宣布，旗下所有平台14日起暂停刊登政治广告，避免重演6日的国会山庄之乱。
Airbnb在声明中宣布，总统就职当週的华府大都会区的所有订房都会被取消，此外也禁止同时期在该区的订房。外传部分参与6日国会山庄之乱的暴民就是利用Airbnb寻找下榻处，Airbnb已禁止曾参与该动乱或与仇恨团体有关者使用该平台，但并未说明此一订房禁令是应执法当局要求。
至于Google则表示，有鑑于上週的国会山庄暴动以及总统就职大典在即，旗下所有平台将暂停刊登所有政治广告，以及论及弹劾、就职或国会山庄抗议的广告，至少直到总统就职过后的21日为止。
